Save On Space And Select The Corner Wall Mount For Your LCD TV

By Craig Schiffer

The biggest dilemma after buying the bigger and better TV mounts is where to station these big televisions. The regular TV stand does not work. In general the regular TV is kept on the conventional TV stand but these old style TV stands are not suited for the plasma or flat LCD TV's. The best thing is to mount these TV's on the wall.

Large new style plasma and HD televisions need to be mounted on the specialized TV mounts. The good part is that you now have the special corner TV wall mounts to save on space. You will wonder using the corner mount how you will be able to view the TV. These extend into the main living room using the extended articulating arms.

The main emphasis here is that you will be saving on space. These mounts are called as cantilever mounts or they are called the articulating wall mounts. These TV mounts have big steel arms which can be extended and these can swivel on the hinges very easily. No need to have it on the main wall of the drawing or the living room. This is a huge saving of the space when you are not watching TV.

The extend length is about 15.4 inches from the wall and the retracted length is about 3.4 inches from the wall. The main thing to know is the VESA specifications on the wall mount. VESA standards are what are adhered to by each and every manufacturer of the TV mounts. These standards are engraved on the back side of the TV by the TV manufacturers.

It is always better to buy the LCD TV and the mount together. The retailer will be able to give you the best deal as well you will be able to get the best TV wall mount with exact specifications.
