A Few Interesting Movie Synopses To Look At

For years now, the video store was the way to get movies. You can now save a trip to the video store and download movies right off the internet. Below is a sample of some of the movies you can find using movie download sites.

Scandalous John: A Disney comedy Western chronicling what occurs when older, lovably ornery rancher Keith refuses to sell his land to a developer. Keith's wonderful performance as a contemporary Don Quixote gives this one a lift. Cast includes Brian Keith, Michele Carey, Rick Lenz, Harry Morgan, and Simon Oakland. (113 minutes, 1970)

Fantastic Invasion of The Planet Earth: Discharged theatrically in 3-D, this movie was pretty much a disaster. A young couple finds themselves caught in a deserted town encircled in a mammoth bubble. The original title, The Bubble, was far less deceiving: there are no foreigners and no "invasion" in fact, and not much enthusiasm, either. Cast includes Filmed in widescreen Space-Vision. Cast includes Michael Cole, Deborah Walley, and Johnny Desmond. (91 minutes, 1996)

Lilith: A somewhat accurate rendition of a J. R. Salamanca novel in regards to a novice therapist who falls in love with a bothered subject. Lilith is an investigating, if not completely pleasing, look at the numerous aspects of madness and love. This would be director-author Rossen's last film. Cast includes Warren Beatty, Jean Seberg, Peter Fonda, Kim Hunter, Jessica Walter, Anne Meacham, and Gene Hackman. (114 minutes, 1964)

The Geisha Boy: Jerry, an inept warlock, voyages to Japan with catastrophic repercussions. Imaginative graphic gags; there's a cute pattern characterizing the Los Angeles Dodgers and, specifically, Gil Hodges. Cast includes Jerry Lewis, Marie McDonald, Sessue Hayakawa, Nobu McCarthy, Suzanne Pleshette, Barton MacLane, and Robert Hirano. (98 minutes, 1958)

The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Outrageously naughty film spoof, spiced with sex, and rock music, in regards to a un-crooked couple, Janet and Brad Sarandon, and Bostwick are stranded in an old gloomy home full of weirdos from Transylvania Music and words by O'Brien; melodies contain "Time Warp, and "Crazy and Wild Thing'. Cast includes Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Richard O'Brien, Jonathan Adams, and Meatloaf. (95 minutes, 1975)

The Crush: Ludicrous thriller in reference to a twenty-something year old reporter Elwes who becomes the target of a pretty, compulsive fourteen-year-old Lolita Silverstone. The young reporter soon sees that the young girl has a crush on him. Cast includes Cary Elwes, Alicia Silverstone, Jennifer Rubin, Amber Benson, Kurtwood Smith, and Gwyneth Walsh. (89 minutes, 1993)

Four Brothers: The rough and rugged Mercer brothers have just found out that there adoptive mother has been murder. The four men gather back at home to decide what to do. They soon start coming to the streets of their youth to track down the killer.

King of Jazz: Million dollar musical revue, shot in 2-color Technicolor format, is filled with bigger-than-life production numbers and remarkable melodies. Highlights contain Walter Lantz's animation pattern, Joe Venuti's swing violin, youthful Bing Crosby with the Tempo Boys, and, obviously, Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" which in early Technicolor is more a rhapsody in turquoise. Cast includes Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra, John Boles, Jeanette Loff, The Tempo Boys Bing Crosby, Al Rinker, and Harry Barris. (93 minutes, 1930)

The Stepford Wives: An up to date remake of the 1975 film of the same name. The town of Stepford, on first look, seems like the perfect place. Everything in Stepford seems perfect. Newcomers to Stepford Joanne and Bobbie are starting to wonder what is going on. Will they figure it out before it is too late?
