Roulette System Scams

By Jim Furlong

I am going to speak for a few minutes about a website I have found that sells all sorts of systems for gambling, including systems to aid with online roulette. The website is called 'Roulette to Win'.

For the last few weeks now I have been watching what has been going on with this website, and it seems that the creator has a brand new system coming out practically every month. Wow, he must be earning so much money by selling these winning systems to people, or maybe he is playing on people's desire to win and scamming them out of their hard earned cash?

I came across an online roulette system for sale on the website; the system is called Lucky Numbers. This is unbelievable. The guy is selling people a bunch of 'lucky' numbers for online roulette - why do people fall for things like this?

Roulette to Win offers over 80 different systems for gambling - mostly for roulette but there are also some for craps and baccarat. You can get a system for $35 and unbelievably a certain baccarat system will set you back $6000!

So, lets be frank, if all these systems are so effective, then the casino would not exist anymore. The maker of this website will stop at nothing to lure nave online gamblers in, with promises of loads of cash.

It's unbelievable that this guy and others just like him gets away with selling these useless systems to people. The only possible explanation I can think of is that the authorities don't have the time to deal with these sorts of people.

I would say that this is one of the worst online gaming sites I have ever seen. I just can't believe the number of ridiculous claims and lies that are on there, it would be a complete waste of time visiting it.

To sum up I think that it would be in your best interests to avoid 'Let's Talk Winning'. It would be nearly impossible to find a successful system for online gambling, if there was one at all, as there are so many for sale in one place.

Things You Know To Improve Your Work Outs.

By Matt Closson

In this article. I will cover steps you can take to make each and every work out more efficient. I will discus ways to avoid frustration by uncovering common mistakes when tiring to get back in shape. I will also give you my opinion on why so many people fail when trying to get back in shape.most people fail at their fitness goals because they don't stay in the game. Its not from laziness or the lack of will to succeed. People start, they work hard and aggressive, they start to see results then they hit a wall or a plateau. This is where a trained professional would change up their routine but most novices don't know any better. They just keep going the way they were going, banging their head into the wall with no results to show for it.

Here is the mistake most novices make. They either cut too many calories too fast causing their body to rebel against the weight loss goal. You see, your body, for years has been maintaining your weight and anything left over is stored as fat. When you cut too many calories too fast your body will slow your metabolism, rob from your lean muscle mass all in the goal to maintain your current weight. The other side of the story is they lack variations to their work out, and fail to push themselves. You can't progress in your fitness goal unless you progress your work out. I.E more reps, more weight, longer distances, faster times and so on.

Plateau Hardly any of the pros ever talk about plateaus. You see there is a time, and this time frame differs for everyone. Where you're body adjusts to your new routine and tries to compensate, your body is only tiring to protect its fuel source. When you dramatically decrease you calorie intake and up your activity level your body wants to store fat (your fuel), preventing you from losing weight. By reducing your calories by more than 500 calories a day makes it too hard for your body to keep a lean body mass. It takes more calories to keep muscle than fat and muscles weigh more than fat. So, when tracking your progress it makes more since to track your "body mass index" than your body weight. Use a body mass calculator at, http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/. Within seconds you can find out what your body mass index is, and were your goal should be. Remember, in order to look slim and trim your muscles have to grow and show. Try to keep your calories just below maintenance level. You can calculate the number of calories you need to maintain your weight at http://exercise.about.com/cs/fitnesstools/l/blcalorieburn.htm.

Varying your work out. Another little known fact is, your muscles have memory. Yes your muscles can remember how to do certain task or exercise. This can be a good thing or a bad thing. Let's talk about the bad news first. Like a computer your body will send just the right amount of fuel (calories) to the muscle groups in question and it is a very efficient machine. That's the bad news. You see if you do the same exercise day in and day out your body becomes a custom to that particular activity and you hit yet another plateau. The good news is that same muscle memory can be reprogrammed. You can reprogram your body and muscles groups by changing up your routine. "Why does this work?" You may ask. Look at it this way. When you have mastered a task that you have done a million time, it becomes simple to you and there is relatively little thought given to said task. Am I Right? It's much harder and requires more energy to learn a new task...with me so far? What we are tiring to do is keep your body guessing. Your body uses more energy learning a new task which will avoid deep muscle memory.

Upping the bar In order to improve on anything, you must set the bar somewhere right? Whether it is how fast a car goes or how much weight you want to lose, you need a reference level. How much do I weigh today? It also helps to have someone or something to monitor your progress as it happens. Certain tools come to mind such as a simple note book or journal to keep track of things like; how far did I walk or run today? What am I going to do tomorrow? How many "push ups" did I do today, "sit ups?" etc. If you keep your focus on these types of goals it becomes a whole lot easier to get in shape. If you don't think you have the discipline to write these things down, there are products out there that will keep track for you. Such as step counter or GPS heart monitors that give you exactly recounts of your run. GPS heart monitors measuring things like distance ran, heart rate, the amount of time you spent at your target heart rate goal, the list goes on and on. My point is, in order to improve you have to know where you started and how far you have gone, so that tomorrow you can do just a little bit more improving.

Gamer Testing Ground - Get Paid To Play Video Games From Home

By Neil Holloway

I above all people was skeptical if I could honestly make $150 per day working with Gamer Testing Ground playing the newest releases of games and checking for problems. All my friends did not believe when I told them I was a professional video game tester. I had my own doubts until I decided to take action and look into becoming a professional video game tester.

After testing video games myself and now doing this professionally for six months I can share I have a great job! The truth is because most are skeptical there are many fewer game testers right now than there is a demand. Let me share with you for a moment about Gamer Testing Ground.

Why Do Video Game Companies Need Testers?

Gamer Testing Ground connects you with the top gaming companies around the world who are looking for game players to test out their newest games before official release. After getting to know some of the game programmers in the companies, they now trust my gaming ability, and are needing more game testers currently. The reason is because programmers are not going to spend their time playing their own games. They have to spend all their time making improvements and updates to make sure the previous versions are are working correctly, as a result they are willing to pay for it.

How Much Money Can You Make With Gamer Testing Ground?

I need to make sure to say this first. You need to be someone who loves playing video games before you visit the site, otherwise you will be bored quickly. The truth is it does pay well (I now make around $175/day and the top gamers are making $120/hour) because the more I test the more I find what they are looking for as a professional tester. Honestly, not everyone is willing to play video games, the truth is even if you paid them to for it.

Wrapping It Up

The main reason why I am now doing this is because the pay is really good and I get to play the newest games. It is a steady stream of good income and I no longer need part time jobs. Another advantage that should not be overlooked is that I get to play from home while making money. So many games being released every year into a $50 billion industry, the job opportunities continue to grow and my work never stops.

Some Informations On RTG Casinos

If you haven't caught on yet, you should know that RTG casinos can be pretty fun. Just think about all the money you can make and the people you can talk to from the comfort of your own office chair. Don't rush into it though! Make sure that you read a few things about RTG casinos first. There are a lot of rules to follow, and they are there for a reason, after all, without rules there would just be chaos!

Play Mechanics

Before you begin to play, there is software to install. The RTG site that you are using will have this software and it will be readily available. So long as you actually have a computer and internet connection, this will be no problem.

Prepare to play, but only after you do these things:

*To begin your download, you will want to pick an RTG casino, and when you have done this, it's time to register. Create a new account in the lobby, and then decide how you want to deposit money into the account. There are many methods that you can use. You could use a credit card, or you could use a wire transfer. It's really up to you, and the options available will depend on what RTG you use. Finish your registration process and click OK.

*You will need to head over to the lobby to deposit your money. When you go there, there should be a 'Cashier' option. This will allow you to make your preferred deposit and you will get in on the game, which is what you've been waiting for.

It's pretty easy to get into the game. There are likely a lot of tables available, and you need only sit down at one. Whether you Video slots, progressive games, real series, whatever you want. You're sure to have a great time!

Player Etiquette

It's common for any place, whether online or off-there are going to be rules. Make sure that you follow these rules so that everyone will be much happier. But if you do not heed the rules, you will more than likely find yourself banned, which is a bad situation for anyone.

* Make sure that you stick with players of your own skill. By doing this you will ensure that everyone has a fun and challenging experience. If you wish to move up in the ranks, play some games for fun so you'll get the hang of the harder games.

* There is usually a chat function, but make sure that you use it with care. Do not abuse the chat with profanities or hate slurs. This can only lead to trouble for you later on.

*If you wish to chat or speak in forums, RTG casinos will demand that yous peak English. Please understand that this isn't a discrimination of any kind, it is simply the most common language, and it is easier if everyone speak it.

Play Limits

When you gamble, you want to make sure that you at least to t responsibly. Yes, it can be a hassle, but set limits for yourself so that you don't end up becoming addicted. When the limit is reached it's quite simple: stop gambling. Don't let it tear your life apart, and don't walk away from everything you know just because of a gambling addiction.

If you follow the rules and set your limits, then you're bound to have a great time with RTG casinos. So get to it, and enjoy!

Distance Education Receives An Incredible Advantage From Online Media Technology Breakthrough

By John Maxted

One thing that has prevented a number of people from enrolling into an online learning program in the past was that these courses were known to provide a substandard substitute for learning in a traditional classroom environment. However, a lot of improvements have been made in the technology used to offer online bachelor degree programs and now students can enjoy learning in a setting which works much like a traditional classroom. Truly interactive education is now available online.

The first major improvement came from the prevalence of high speed internet connections. Broadband connections have allowed people to quickly download files and gain access to websites. Now instructors can place large media files onto the web and students can instantly view or download them without being held back by a slow connection and hours of waiting or downloading.

A large part of modern online classes is conducted with recorded class presentations. These have also been greatly improved, with instructors narrating a PowerPoint presentation. The end result is an experience much like that of being present in the lecture hall for the presentation.

Other instructors may choose to actually videotape their classroom lectures. This provides an even more realistic experience as you can really watch the professor speak and see what they emphasize. It also helps to reinforce a name with a face so you can connect and trust that person more.

Another improvement in technology has enabled students to interact with each other more effectively. Online discussion boards serve as the virtual classroom, wherein you discuss topics with other students, ask each other questions and converse about the course. Live chat rooms add further functionality to an online education.

For those whose computers meet the system requirements, video and audio chats are also a possibility. Using VOIP services like Skype or webcams, students can easily meet each other and collaborate on class projects with ease - no matter how far away they may live from one another!

Online education also lets students turn in their coursework in the same way that their instructors provide lectures! You can make your reports something really special by using PowerPoint presentations and recording voiceovers just as your professors do; there's plenty of software available to help you make these multimedia reports.

Testing is another critical element of online bachelors degree courses which has made great progress. There are now timed online tests which you can take online. There are multiple choice questions as well as essay questions. You'll want to make sure that you understand the material you've been studying, after all - and so will your instructors; there's just no substitute for testing. Online testing is convenient since you can take your tests when you have the free time for them.

Know more than ever, online courses offer a complete classroom experience. From detailed presentations that make you feel like you're in the lecture hall, to comprehensive testing services and student interaction, getting an online education has been made better through technology.

Getting Ready For A Clairvoyance Test

By Adam R Haywood

Clairvoyance is one of the most intriguing aspects of paranormal studies. There are many people who devote themselves to studying it. There is even a clairvoyance test that is administered to people who think they might be clairvoyant.

As with other paranormal abilities, there is a lot of controversy surrounding the topic of clairvoyance. There are people on both sides, equally convinced of its reality or its lack thereof. Those who have used the ability themselves, obviously, are certain that it is a real phenomenon; and many others are curious about it, either having seen clairvoyance in action or have an inkling that they may be clairvoyant themselves.

One problem is that relatively few people genuinely understand clairvoyance. This ability is essentially an additional sense which permits those who possess it to gain knowledge of the future or past without experiencing it with their physical senses. This knowledge usually comes as a mental picture or as sounds only audible to the clairvoyant.

Some people say that people who have clairvoyance have an ability that other people don't, but this isn't necessarily true. It actually seems more likely that most people are born with some level of ability in this area, but it is shut down as they get older. Children in our society who show signs of being clairvoyant are usually just told to stop imagining things or that things like that don't exist. This both frightens and confuses the child, and they ignore anything unusual that may happen. This eventually kills the ability.

Using a clairvoyance test program or other regular practice, almost anyone can rediscover this ability and make use of it. There are those who are naturally more inclined towards clairvoyance, but almost all of us can bring these latent abilities to the surface and develop them to some extent.

The essential beginning phase of any clairvoyance test is to develop your mind with the goal of accessing your latent clairvoyance. Meditation is among the most effective methods of awakening the subconscious mind and allowing this ability to be used.

The more you develop your abilities, the more types of clairvoyance test you may assess your progress with. You will determine the extent of your abilities to listen for information from the world around you and test whether you tend to receive this information through visual or auditory means.

While it may not seem difficult, becoming a clairvoyant is a long, involved process that requires a lot of discipline. You need the guidance of books and other people who share your abilities to really expand your gift. This is something that most people cannot do alone, because it is such a complex and intense process, just like any other major life change.

As you work to bring your paranormal abilities to the fore, you will probably have a clairvoyance test at periodic intervals which will be given by those helping you to learn to use your natural clairvoyant talents. It is just part of the learning process and everyone who strives to develop their skills does this as a matter of course.

House on 92nd Street: Arousing documentary style drama-based movie. As things develop we soon realize that Damian is in fact the son of the devil. Now his father must go to Megiddo to learn how to stop the antichrist.

Factory Girl: Dismal, true tale of 1960s socialite Edie Sedgwick Miller and her self-damaging down turn into depravity and drug dependency after becoming one of Andy Warhol's underground-film "megastars." Christensen plays a renowned musician who looks, acts, and sounds suspiciously like Bob Dylan, with whom she has a stormy event. Cast includes Sienna Miller, Gentleman Pearce, Hayden Christensen, Jimmy Fallon, Jack Huston, and Shawn Hatosy. (90 minutes, 2006)

Sex, Lies And Video Tape: Anne and John are married, but John is having an affair with Anne's sister Cynthia. When an old friend of theirs, Graham, shows up, everything changes. John likes to videotape interviews, especially with women.

To find downloads for music or games, try phrases like "Legal Movie Download Sites". Different phrases get different results. If the last one did not work try something else. You should punch in "Movie Sharing" for another set of results.

Making Your Halloween Creation Stand Out

By Chris Dotson

--Here are some of the best costume ideas from a veteran haunted house builder--

One problem a lot of people have when creating their scary costume is they try to hard and over do it. The best way to scare someone with a good costume is to get in there minds and make them realize how real it really is. "People aren't really scared at our haunted houses by our high-tech lighting and multi-thousand dollar sound systems," says veteran haunted house builder, Stephen Walker, "it's usually some teenage actor in a tattered robe and a little makeup that gets our biggest scares.

" Stephen Walker, the creator of Denver's 25th Hour haunted house continues, "It's about getting inside the imagination of the individual and making it personal that provides the big payoff scares."

Stephen also goes into further detail about the several things that you should be getting at your local costume shop or Halloween Store. He definitely is not a fan of those cheesy plastic or latex masks that you see hanging on the wall, and are usually fairly expensive. The best materials he personally thinks is the most effective when scaring someone is nothing more than a simple wig, some warn clothing and a little makeup.

It is also good to stay away from those pre-made costumes that are usually really expensive as is and try to get your hands on some good greasepaint. Steve says the main issue with the masks is that they will limit the range of sight and makes you unable to make any facial features.

He emphasizes that by simply accentuating the natural lines, wrinkles and imperfections that everyone has, a much more convincing and scary creature can be created.

A flesh and blood - living face not only delivers the scares, but is capable of a wide range of emotions and movement that no mask can hope to duplicate. "With just some cotton balls, a little black makeup, fake hair and spirit gum - one can create some really wicked whiskers and harry moles," Stephen chuckled. He reluctantly added that some cheap blood would help, but stressed that too much blood can ruin things and turn a good makeup job into a really big mess.

If you think you might be interested in being an actor at the 25th Hour Haunted House, you can fill out an application by stopping by the haunt ast C-470 and University Blvd. (next to the Players Bench). Applications are now being accepted weekdays from 10:00 to 6:00 at that location.

About The 25th Hour and Stephen Walker The 25th Hour haunted house is located in Highlands Ranch Colorado and is produced by Effectech. Effectech has been producing and building haunted houses in Denver for over 17 years. In 2009 the company is building four haunted houses in the Denver Metro Area: The 13th Door, The Curse of Slaughterhouse Gulch, The 25th Hour and The Butcher. Stephen Walker is the manager of The 25th Hour haunted house.

Your Ballet Technique Refined

By Sarah Wilkiamson

Almost every child is fascinated by the Nutcracker ballet which is a standard during the holiday season. Often this is the first impressions of ballet, but as people get older they are better able to appreciate this form of art. It is only natural that once you love it, you will also feel the need to master it also.

Once you have decided to work on the techniques that make up ballet, then you should be aware of the amount of work you are in for. There is a good reason that ballet is known as the root of all dancing and that has to do with the fact that the technical skills required for ballet are outstanding. Mastering these skills requires a tremendous amount of work.

It is very important that you start correctly with the basics of ballet and not skip ahead because it will only be harder to undo the more advanced and complicated moves you have learned while jumping ahead. If you learn things wrong instead of learning the basics first the other things learned will most likely be wrong.

This can be avoided by beginning at the very origin of ballet, and examine the positions of the feet and arms. It also helps to work in front of a mirror so that you can see what you are doing and make any critiques that way. It is imperative that each of the standard positions of ballet are like second nature to you before you make the next step and move on to more complicated moves like grand jete?s or pirouettes.

While you are learning your technique it is recommended that you have another person, such as your teacher, to watch and correct you if something in your technique is incorrect. You can?t do this yourself as you may not see something whereas another trusted person can.

Patience is something you must exercise while learning ballet. You will need to give it some time before you see results. Old habits may need to be broken plus building muscle memory and you need to give your body some time to adjust to better habits and new positions.

You will have to commit yourself completely if you want to progress with ballet dancing. Only if you invest all you have into stretching yourself will you be able to make any improvements. It will be necessary to give more than you normally do and be fully committed to your dancing.

It is possible that you fell in love with ballet dancing as a child, but working on it will be a long term commitment. There are always ways available to improve your dancing, but if you are not entirely committed to it then you are destined to never reach your full potential. Once you work on refining the basics and giving all you have to studying ballet will you finally be on the way to reaching excellence.

4 Wondrous Ideas for Twilight Party Favors

By Aaron Hu

This fall Twilight themed parties will be all the rage. There will be several people who will look forward to having birthday parties, costume parties, and other events based on the popular book series. The idea is not new. As a matter of fact when the series first came out, Stephenie Meyer, the author of Twilight, sponsored a series of Twilight proms. So it isn't a huge leap to have a party based on the same theme. Since the idea is looking to be so popular it seems that one of the few ways to make your own even stand out is with unique favors. This is a great opportunity to make a lasting on guests who are fellow fans. The key to find great Twilight themed party favor is to know what you are looking for and to pay attention to detail. If you do this you will be able to give your guest extraordinary items to take home with them. Here are some suggestions to help you get started.

Look to movie merchandise for inspiration. There are plenty of posters and other items that are being sold by the movie franchise to pad sales from movie tickets. For you as a party planner this is a great opportunity to score some Twilight swag for your event. There are limited edition posters, candy, and even stickers that you can purchase to spruce up your party favors. A great example is keys chains. There are some now online that are decorated with special stickers with scenes from the first Twilight movie and even more images from the upcoming sequel, New Moon. Take advantage of these to get great items to give to your guest.

Draw inspiration from the books. The thing that makes Twilight special is that it is a franchise whose loyal fan base was already built in when the series was just books. So you can take advantage of the extra details provided in the book to prove how much of a fan you are and create a lot of unique gifts. A great idea is to use Native American themed items as gifts since Jacob the new leading man for New Moon is from a Reservation and his tribes special powers are explained in legends. This is one way to take advantage of knowledge from the book.

Look to the images on the covers of the Twilight books for favor ideas. Each book in the Twilight series has a unique cover centered on a certain item or theme. The first book, Twilight has a cover with an apple in a woman's hands. You can choose favors that have pictures of the cover or favors with apple themes such as an apple shaped candle. The detail will be a great way to show off your Twilight knowledge to fans.

Try to pick out favors that are at least somewhat useful so that they are not just pieces of junk that your guests throw away. A great idea is Twilight themed lip balm or a useful and stylish favor purse to hold the other gifts you might give your guests. This will make them more effective mementos of your party and make sure all your hard work and money doesn't go to waste. So keep a look out for interesting items that fit this description.

Top 8 Ways To Spot A Poker Bluff (Even Online!)

Spotting a poker bluff online is tricky. In offline play, you can watch body language and get physical cues as to when someone is bluffing. Usually unless they are a professional, all poker players give off signs they are bluffing through body language. Online, though, you don't have the ability to read body language, so how can you tell if someone is bluffing?

People still give off signals, even online, that they are bluffing. Some are better at covering, but others are a little loose and easy to catch. Either way, the following are 8 ways that you can spot a poker bluff online.

1. Pay attention to chatter. Some people cannot seem to hold their tongue. Some people who bluff will be chatting away. What they say may not match up to how they play and that is what you are watching for. Players may just reveal their bluff in what they say without ever realizing it.

2. A person bluffing may raise before the flop and quickly raise again. They are driving up the pot and hoping you don't have a hand you feel confident about.

3. If someone jumps into the game quickly or chooses to sits out and then changes their mind right as the cards are being dealt then they are someone to watch. They probably won't have a good hand, but are simply impatient. If they keep raising or they call quickly then chances are they are bluffing.

4. It is always smart to watch someone who goes all in with a low show on the table. This person may just be ready to call it a day and figures why not go out on a high note.

5. Get to know playing styles. The best players mix up their style, but your average player will usually follow the same general patterns. If someone starts playing odd then they should be watched. They may have a good hand, but chances are they are trying to bluff. Get to know the other players styles so you can spot when things are not quite right.

6. Watch aggressive or loose players. If you notice someone who is always playing aggressively then you never really know when to trust them because they cannot possible have an amazing hand every time.

7. Another thing about watching players - watch what is shown at the end. If someone keeps falling short then you know they like to bluff and you will keep an eye on them in the future.

8. People who play fast are a danger. Someone who is just playing fast and not putting thought into what they are doing is a loose cannon. They may not even have a clue how to play. Don't let them get you. Watch what they play and don't buy into their bluff.

These 8 ways to spot a poker bluff should help you to start being able to cut through the bluffs that are thrown your way online. After some practice and some time you should start to be able to spot online bluffs just as easily as you do during an offline game.

Positive Focus Vs Negative Focus

By Jason Kendall

A glance at any Best Seller list in bookshops today, will reveal a multitude of autobiographies of the rich and famous. From footballers to glamour models to empire builders, they all have their own story to tell, but each has a common theme - they overcame adversity by focusing on the positives.

That's the way of the world; life's achievers allow positive reasons why 'they can' to flood their consciousness, and drown out negative reasons why they can't.

This attitude to studying is paramount for the student. To successfully complete a training program, an optimistic mindset is the biggest tool in a trainee's workbox. A positive approach brings about all sorts of possibilities, circumstances, answers and opportunities to achieve. By contrast, a pessimistic outlook blocks our learning receptors and thwarts creativity .

This is due to our Reticular Activation System, which is a mechanism in our brain that automatically tells us what to focus on. We've experienced many things throughout our lives that no longer stay in the forefront of our minds - most of what we've learned moves from our conscious mind to our sub-conscious mind, a sort of store cupboard stocked up with all our past knowledge and beliefs.

When we consciously attempt to do something, our Reticular Activation System (RAS) will search the sub-conscious mind for any relevant information it holds, and bring it to our attention. If we're walking down a street, we're only made aware of things that have meaning to us - the rest is just background noise.

This means that if our conscious mind has been regularly sending messages that are upbeat and positive to our sub-conscious mind, then that's what it will transfer back. But if our sub-conscious has been given loads of downbeat and defeatist messages, then that's equally what will be sent back.

Achievers, it appears, are able to manipulate the messages streamimg through to their sub-conscious minds. They do this by choosing the exact messages the conscious mind sends and deliberately programming their RAS. As such, it's an essential tool for achieving goals, as the sub-conscious mind can't tell the difference between real or imaginary events.

In other words, as it believes what it's told, we need to create a very specific picture of our goal in our conscious mind. The RAS will then pass this on to our subconscious - which will then help us achieve the goal. It does this by bringing to our attention all the relevant information which otherwise might have remained as 'background noise'.

Napoleon Hill once wrote that we can attain any realistic goal if we keep that goal clearly in our mind, and stop allowing any negative thoughts about it. If we keep thinking that we can't achieve a goal, of course, our subconscious will help us not to achieve it.

Outdoor Family Games are Healthy--for Body and Soul

By Craig Mecham

According to the experts there are two things which are a problem in our society. First is that we're not getting enough exercise. We spend too much time sitting around. We sit on the couch, we sit in front of the TV, we sit in the car, we sit behind our desks. We just do too much sitting. Of course sometimes we just have to sit, but we need to do less of it. Maybe we wouldn't all be so fat if we moved around a little more.

Back in the good old days, Americans got much more exercise. Not so today. We need to do more walking, running, jogging or even just moving around--take the stairs instead of the elevator--you know the drill. One recent report from the American Cancer Society says that lack of exercise is just as dangerous to our health as smoking! That's a surprise! Plus, they tell us that people who don't exercise are two times as likely to have heart disease as people who are exercising even a moderate amount.

Back in the early 60's there were large numbers of people walking or jogging. It was quite a fad to see how far you could walk in a day. People would walk as much as 20, 25 or 30 miles in a day. And the newspapers would write articles about it! Even back then, our country was worried that we were sitting around and getting flabby. No one expects us to walk 30 miles today, but it we be good if we did something simple like play an outdoor family game together.

The experts say that just a small amount of exercise is still helpful for our bodies. Many people are taking advantage of outdoor family games to add some exercise to their routines. The popularity of backyard games has increased dramatically over the past year or two. There are many different types from which to choose and they're an inexpensive way to have fun while exercising.

BlongoBall is one game that is becoming increasingly popular all across the nation. It's easy to set up and fun to play. You don't need any particular athletic ability so it's suitable for all ages from grade schoolers to Grandpa and Grandma.

The game is played by tossing a bolo constructed from two golf balls connected with a length of rope. The bolo is tossed at the horizontal rungs of a "ladder" type goal. Scoring is accomplished when the bolo wraps around one of the horizontal rungs. It's easy to learn and fun to play.

There are many BlongoBall imitators in the "toss it, wrap it, score" game category. BlongoBall is the original and our favorite. We've tested most all of these types of games and our preference is for BlongoBall because it is the only one we think is built to last. Some of the cheap imitations broke almost immediately, so be careful when buying a game if this type.

The second thing the experts are telling us is that we don't spend enough time together as families. Of course this is probably not going to make you lose weight, unless being with your family puts you off your dinner. But an essential part of healthy psychology and parenting is to spend time together not just working and handling the chores involved with running a family, but doing fun things.

This is a natural place for outdoor family games to fit into the routine. Most families will have a great time with a game that's as easy and fun to play as BlongoBall. Even temperamental teenagers can easily become interested in game that's a little challenging but not demanding a tremendous amount of skill.

When you're playing BlongoBall it's easy to converse and interact with other players. This is one of the other reasons we like it. It doesn't require such focus and concentration that conversation must come to a stop, yet it's still challenging enough to capture the interest of everyone in the family. It makes family time truly a together time. All the kids, even the very young grade schoolers can play. Plus, you can purchase additional soft rubber ball sets to use indoors in the winter. BlongoBall is a favorite year round game in many families.

All in all, outdoor family games are a great idea not only for staying in shape physically, but for keeping your family in shape and emotionally healthy.

Castles Weddings - Be A Princess On Your Special Day

By Benny B Wright

Admit it: ever since you were a little girl, you have dreamed of becoming a princess. Well, why don't you turn into one on your wedding day? Castles weddings could prove to be the perfect opportunity to finally feel like the princess that you are and get everything you have ever dreamed of.

Castles weddings have tons of different approaches for you to choose from: the extravagant kind with immense decorations; the shabby kind with low-down paths, and the simple yet romantic kind that most brides-to-be opt for. No matter which one you prefer, make sure you take into consideration your personal taste, your flexibility in travel and location and your budget.

After you pinpoint where you want your castle wedding to take place, you should start planning the rest of your wedding. Your attire would be of the utmost importance when it comes to castles weddings. Since you will be in a castle, your wedding gown needs to be fit for a princess. Look for details that princesses would look for, such as delicate fabrics, intricate embroidery and big skirts. Don't opt for anything too modern since it won't fit your whole castle theme, as a whole.

This kind of royal opulence has to go all the way down to the accessories that you plan to wear. Although full suites of diamonds might be out of your reach, you can still create an outstanding look with personalized Swarovski necklaces. They can be as elaborate or as simple as you would like.

Crystals can provide you with just as much sparkle as diamonds would, but at a cheaper price. To make your look stand out even more, opt for veils that flow all the way down your back or beautiful tiaras that would be fit for royalty.

Castles weddings are always romantic and memorable with their royal, fairy-tale vibe. Just imagine what else you could adorn your wedding day with: magnificent centerpieces, talented bands, and feasts for a king. Make sure that you don't forget the wedding photos to remind yourself of what a success your wedding was.

How To Count Cards

Card counting is a common strategy used to play and win at blackjack. If you have wanted to learn how to count cards, but have been worried it is too hard, then read on. You are about to learn simple steps to counting cards that will get you started. If you want additional information there are plenty of great resources all over the internet that teach the various methods of card counting. This should be enough, though, to get you started in card counting.

The high-low system is one of the most common methods of counting cards. It is also one of the easiest systems to understand. Before you start to learn how to count cards, you need to understand that card counting is not really about counting the actually number of cards, but rather figuring the ratio of high to low cards that remain in the deck. It may seem confusing, but just follow along and you should start to understand.

Assigning Values

In the high-low system you will assign point values to each card. Low cards include 2,3,4,5 and 6. These cards get a value of plus one. High cards are the 10,jack,queen,king and ace. These cards get a value of minus one. Neutral cards are the 7,8 and 9. They get no value assigned to them.

To begin with learning to count cards you should practice memorizing the values of each card. Go through a deck over and over reciting the card values until you are sure you have them memorized.

Keep the Running Count

Once you are feeling that you have the card values memorized you can start working with keeping a running count. This is more practice to get you ready for the actual game.

To keep a running count you start with a value of 0. As you flip over cards from your deck you will add or subtract the values. For example, if you have a king, queen, 2 and 8 you would end up with a count of minus 1.

Keeping the running count will likely take much more practice that just memorizing the values. It is essential, though, that you get keeping the running count down perfectly. You should keep practicing until it becomes like second nature and you don't hesitate anymore in figuring the count.

True Count

Once you are ready to play an actual game and count the cards during the game you will go from a running count to the true count. To do this you keep the running count and divide it by the number of cards remaining in the deck. The true count will tell you what to bet.

If the true count is positive then bet more. If it is negative then don't bet as much. This allows you to play smart and only bet when you have a good chance of winning. In the end you will likely win more than you lose. Card counting can be a great way to start improving your odds at the blackjack table and help you start to make more when you play.

1977 Triple Crown Winner Seattle Slew

By Ross Everett

Seattle Slew died on May 7, 2002 at the age of 28. One of only 11 winners of horse racing's prestigious 'Triple Crown' he is by default considered among the all time greats in thoroughbred racing. Of the eleven horses to win the Triple Crown, he is the only one to do so with an undefeated record. He was also notable due to his humble beginnings, and is the only Triple Crown winner to have been purchased at public auction. He retired to stud in 1978 and sired over 100 stakes race winners including 1984 Kentucky Derby champion, Swale. Slew's offspring have earned a combined $76 million dollars at the race track. Slew wasn't the most majestic looking creature by the lofty standards of race horses, but was possessed with the heart, toughness and courage of a professional prizefighter.

The Seattle Slew story began very modestly at a public auction in Lexington, Kentucky. The Keeneland Summer Yearling sale wasn't supposed to be the marketplace of champions, and the idea that this particular horse would ever amount to anything other than a farmhand was downright laughable. He was somewhat clumsy looking due to a front right forefoot splay and had a shuffling gait at trot. Slew wasn't a beautifully majestic creature like his Triple Crown winning predecessor, Secretariat. Slew was borderline ugly. So ungainly a creature was he that he was given the less than inspiring nickname "Baby Huey" by the Keeneland staff. He was purchased by two couples (Karen and Mickey Taylor and Jim and Sally Hill) for $17,500. What wasn't apparent at the yearling sale was the intangibles that make up a championship thoroughbred--poise under pressure, love of competition, toughness, heart and desire. His owners had unwittingly stumbled onto an equine Muhammad Ali, and his competitive fire quickly became apparent to his trainers and jockeys. His first race came at Belmont Park in 1976, and he entered--and won--three races as a two year old giving a glimpse as to what like ahead.

Slew became the Kentucky Derby favorite by winning his three prep races as a three year old, including prestigious Wood Memorial. In the Derby, Slew got off to a terrible start as he stumbled from the gate much like War Emblem did in the 2002 Belmont. Unlike 2002's Triple Crown contender, however, Slew was able to recover from that miscue and basically force his way through a pack of other horses to position himself at the front of the field at the quarter mile pole. Slew would win the Derby by a length and 3 quarters. He took another tough victory at the Preakness before clinching the Triple Crown with a 4 length victory in the Belmont Stakes.

Slew continued to campaign as a four year old, but in the days before the Breeder's Cup there weren't many opportunities for an older horse. He retired to stud in 1978, where he sired champions such as the aforementioned Swale and 1992 Belmont Champ AP Indy. Slew stood at Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, Kentucky from 1985 until early 2002 when he was moved to Hill 'n' Dale Farm in Lexington, KY following a spinal operation.

In some ways, Slew had much in common with the heavyweight championship reign of Larry Holmes. He came so quickly on the heels of such incredible excellence--Slew was forever in the shadow of 1973 Triple Crown winner Secretariat, Holmes on the heels of Muhammad Ali--that he never gained the appreciation he deserved during his prime. In hindsight, however, it has finally been noted what an exceptional horse he really was. Jockey Angel Cordero, who rode Slew during the twilight of his career noted "If I had a chance to take any horse in the world, if someone said your life is depending on riding one horse to win, I would take (Slew). I rode 44,000 horses, but he was special, he was different. He was muscled, like a wrestler. He ran different than any other horse. It was like he came from another planet."

Slew was laid to rest at Hill 'n' Dale Farm in Lexington, under a statue.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles

By James Ronald Wellingston

I think because of the massive amount of attention that is given to this album's so called "historical significance" that sometimes not enough attention is given to the music itself. I hope to correct that imbalance with this review which focuses entirely on the album's 13 tracks.

01. "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" - This is a brilliant way to start the album and it really sets the mood for the entire thing. The "concept" of the album is really quite loose, without this song there is no concept album! One thing I really dig about this song is the crazy horns section. Can you imagine many "rock bands" of today having the imagination to include something like that in their song?

02. "With a Little Help from my Friends" - I know there are quite a few people who think that Joe Cocker really did the definitive version of this song, but I'm definitely not one of those people. I like Cocker's version, but the original contains the real magic to my ears.

03. "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" - Now that the original mono version is available easily (with the release of The Beatles in Mono Box Set) it's great to be able to hear what this album sounds like in mono (how it was "meant to be heard" originally.) And the heavy vocal effects on this song is probably one of the more interesting things about the mono mixes for me.

04. "Getting Better" - The "it couldn't get much worse" lyric that Lennon added to this McCartney song is such a great example of the way that Lennon and McCartney made each others songs better even when they weren't righting them "eyeball to eyeball" like in the early days.

05. "Fixing a Hole" - Possibly the best lyrics Paul McCartney ever wrote. Another one of my favorites on an album filled with favorites.

06. "She's Leaving Home" - Another great reason to get The Beatles in Mono Box Set. This song sounds faster and higher (by a semitone) in the mono version. It's a treat to hear!

07. "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite" - How brilliant is it that these lyrics were taken entirely from an 1800s circus poster that Lennon came across? I believe a big part of real genius is being able to be inspired by things that most people wouldn't notice. This is a good example of that.

08. "Within You Without You" - Speaking of "far out" how about we go all the way to India? Some people don't like this song because it doesn't fit with their preconceived notions of what music is supposed to sound like. To me this song is brilliant because of that very reason. We shouldn't limit ourselves.

09. "When I'm Sixty-Four" - I love how quickly the musical styles change with this album. We go from a carnival to India to music hall!

10. "Lovely Rita" - I definitely enjoy this song as well but I must say that I do think tracks #10 and #11 are the least interesting tracks on the album.

11. "Good Morning Good Morning" - John was inspired by a Kellogg's Corn Flakes commercial to write this song. Pretty cool lead guitar bits played by Paul.

12. "Sgt. Pepper's (Reprise)" - This one is even better than the album opener. It rocks something fierce!

13. "A Day in the Life" - The greatest song ever.

Weather Types Determined By Earth's Position Near The Sun

By Ken Morris

The Earth is able to support life as we know it here because the sun and the atmosphere come together to form the climates in which people are able to survive. Without the sun, the Earth would be a frozen mass and without the atmosphere there would be no water to freeze.

The circulation of the Earth creates wind, and when wind is combined with sun and water, climates are created. Air pressure is created when the air molecules on Earth become dense. The denser the molecules are, the higher the air pressure is. Air at sea level exerts approximately 14.5 pounds of pressure per square inch.

Air molecules are always moving. Their speed of movement is dependent on the temperature surrounding them. Higher temperatures cause more frequent motion; cooler temperatures make air molecules move much slower. Convection occurs when an air mass warms up, expands, rises, and causes the air mass to become lighter. Convection happens all of the time, but it happens in irregular patterns. As the warm air rises, it cools, as it cools, it goes back down again. This constant movement also changes the air pressure of an area.

Low pressure occurs where the air is on its way up. High pressure occurs when the air molecules are all coming together, heating up and sinking down onto the ground. The movement creates wind and the more movement there is, the stronger the force of the wind. The changes in weather formations are often determined by these movements.

The Earth moves around in a complete circle in 24 hours. It moves around the sun in this circular pattern in 8760 hours, or 365 days, and creates what we call a year. The elliptical shape of the orbit of the Earth around the sun brings the Earth closer to the sun at particular times during the orbit. The position of the Earth toward or away from the sun determines the heat and light directed at the Earth, leading to the changes that occur during the day and night. This position on the orbit, depending on the position of the location on the Earth determines the season. The tilt of the Earth on its axis of about 23.5 degrees is what determines what happens where and what weather types exist where.

During the month of December, the North Pole tilts away from the sun and the South Pole tilts closer. This makes the Northern Hemisphere colder and darker during this time. As the Earth moves along, it changes its poles' positions and in 6 months, the sun is closest to this same part of the Earth. During this time, the Northern Hemisphere is much warmer and the days are much longer. This explains the different weather styles that occur at the same time, such as is how it is summer in the United States when it is winter in Australia.

Rocky Balboa: Rocky, now a 6O-ish widower and restaurant owner, who's disassociated from his business yuppie son (Ventimiglia), plans to re-enter the ring one last time to battle the present Heavyweight Champ. A number of ESPN-type Television identities appear as themselves. Cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Burt Youthful, Milo Ventimiglia, Geraldine Hughes, James Francis Kelly Sick, Tony Burton, A. J. Benza, Henry G. Sanders, and Antonio Tarver. (102 minutes, 2006)

Brynner gives the acting job of a generation, and was rewarded with an Oscar reconstructing his Broadway role. Kerr is charming and her harmonizing voice was dubbed by Marni Nixon. Melodies contain "Hello, Young Lovers," "Getting to Know You," and "Shall We Dance." Cast includes Deborah Kerr, Yul Brynner, Rita Moreno, Martin Benson, Terry Saunders, Rex Thompson, and Alan Mowbray. (133 minutes, 1956)

Great Guns: Later Laurel and Hardy Army comedy is weak, not as poor as some although far underneath their classic films. Cast includes Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Sheila Ryan, Dick Nelson, and Edmund MacDonald. (74 minutes, 1941)

Marie Antoinette: This film is a visually sumptuous account of an adolescent's voyage from Vienna to the Palace at Versailles and the throne of France. Author-director Coppola's Marie (as played by Dunst) is a modern-day gal, with contemporary music set contrary to the pomp and circumstance of the 18th century life. Starts to tire eventually and ends with a cry, not a smash although there's much to like here. What You Need To Know About OLED Televisions

By Jimmy Tyrrell

There has been an awful lot of noise within the TV manufacturing industry about the rise of OLED televisions over the last few years. Recently, this entered the public the domain as companies start to launch the technology. But is it really worth all the attention, how does it work, and what will it cost?

Before discussing the benefits of OLED televisions, it is worth spending a little time trying to understand the tech. Rather than using a screen that reflects light to produce an image, (as with LCDs and LEDs), the layers of compounds that make up the screen emit light themselves.

This allows far richer and deeper colors to be produced. Indicative of this is the reproduction of "true" black; essentially the same black seen in nature. This is fundamental to the industry, as the quality of black produced defines the quality of the complete imagery.

The advantages do not stop there however. Because of the use of these organic compound layers that create light, OLED televisions screen can be immensely thin. They can be so thin in fact, that the screen itself can be bent and manipulated in almost an infinite number of ways.

The screens are also virtually indestructible, so could easily be turned to other uses such as; billboards that curve round corners or clam shell cell phones that are entirely made up of a touch-screen. This is for the future though; presently the major benefit is in TV screens that are up three millimetres in thickness!

It is in the lack of screen size where OLED televisions are yet to make a huge impression though; with the biggest being limited to just fifteen inches on the diagonal. Whilst this is small in comparison to existing LED and LCD screens, the resolution is not diminished and the picture quality is the best you can get. Being so svelte too; they are beautiful things to behold.

There is also a negative in the price of these new OLED televisions. The biggest screen size widely available from a leading manufacturer, (eleven inches), is on the market for somewhere in the region of two thousand five hundred dollars. This price tag is attached to LCD equivalents with a screen size of about four times this.

They also have a relatively short life span. Conversely, the main competitor in the market, the LED television is very generous in its longevity. Availability at the moment is also not very high; though this in itself is indicative of the very latest technological releases.

It is still a relatively young technology though; with a lot of advancements yet to be made. The price will of course fall as demand picks up, the technology really becomes commercially viable and life span is improved.

In summary, the advantages of OLED televisions now and for the future will outweigh any disadvantages. They are the greener option; subsequently consuming fewer resources and the picture clarity is unparalleled.

Vintage Fender Telecaster- Leo Fender's Revolutionary Idea

By Christopher Beachum

Don't matter what type of guitar you may collect every one can agree on one guitar to add to their collection. A vintage Fender Telecaster is wanted by every collector. How come? Well it was the first solid bodied electric guitar out on the market and its impact on the music industry was fascinating and still seen today.

It took Leo Fender around 17 years of experimentation to produce the better known as "Tele". The first prototype name of the Telecaster was the Esquire. The Esquire entered the scene in 1950 and had a short life span. Only around 50 guitars were manufactured and distributed then recalled due to manufacturing errors. This however did not discourage Leo.

He worked on the guitars kinks and updated some features and re-released the guitar later that year and renamed it the Fender Broadcaster. Leo's luck however still was poor. The Gretsch Company would state that Leo violated their copyright of "Broadkaster" drum line and the Broadcaster would have to be renamed.

This didn't bother Leo and with third times a charm renamed his guitar the Fender Telecaster. Now you may be wondering why the "Telecaster" or "Tele", well he named his guitar after the growing popular new medium the television. The guitar not only set new standards, but it started a new wave of music. The unpopular solid bodied electric guitar was now popular. Leo had changed music history.

With the release of the Telecaster the new players not only like the sound, but liked the way that the guitar was put together. It was rather simple to fix. The components were not individually constructed like most guitars at the time, but were mass manufactured. You would think with such a strategy that the performance of the guitar would suffer, but it did not. The Telecaster was sawed and routed from slabs, not hand-carved, necks were bolted and not glued, and the fretboards was a single piece with the neck not separate. Just a few examples of many neat features...
