How to Locate the Best Children's Entertainer For Your Child's Party in 7 Easy Steps

By Hannah Scrivener

When looking for an entertainer you need quality, reliability and someone who will captivate your guests for hours. It can be a hard task to know who will be best for your party when you have never hired anyone before, so here are some important tips to help you navigate your way through the jungle of entertainers and find the best one for you.

1. Communicate! Make sure you ask lots of questions when making an enquiry, ask to talk to the actual entertainer who will be attending the event so you can get an idea of their personality, energy and enthusiasm. Request to see a picture of them or find out how long they have worked in the industry.

2. Look for professionalism throughout the company. If the website is good quality, it is likely that the products they offer are also good quality. Hence, the entertainment will be good quality.

3. It may seem a little unjust to judge a business's entertainers on intangible issues like logos or websites but there is some truth in the saying first impressions count. If the first encounter is not impeccable then why will other aspects of the business be any better?

4. Have an understanding of the type of entertainer you are searching for before you set out on your quest. The more specific you are, the more chances you will get what you're looking for and wont be disappointed come the day.

5. Remember to be flexible as well. Sometimes you may want a blonde Cinderella princess but the business only has a brunette princess. Go for quality entertainers, with lots of experience as they will do a fantastic job no matter what their hair colour is!

6. When talking on the phone to different businesses and gathering quotes, ask for some more information to be sent via post or email as this will help give you something to look at when comparing prices and packages.

7. To finish, by getting more details sent to you, you will have a better platform to judge another aspect of their business. You will see presentation and organisation and get an understanding of how reliable in following up the company is. You will also get a sense of your value to the company and this is highly important as the more valued you are, the more superior the service will be.
