But is that really surprising? After all, a tiny little tube of fake blood can easily run someone four dollars. Even though four dollars does not seem like a lot, it quickly adds up since these tubes do not stretch very far. Just think of how many tubes would need to be purchased for an entire family.

Luckily, there are some easy Halloween makeup recipes that just about anyone can make use of. These recipes are so easy that you will not only want to make your own makeup this year but you might want to consider making a few extra dollars and selling some Halloween makeup to your friends, family, and even strangers across the world through powerful auction sites such as eBay.

Fake blood recipes are not hard to make at all. And since it is probably one of the most popular Halloween makeup creations out there, you will want to take advantage of this recipe.

You will first want to gather some things you will need such as measuring spoons, a mixing bowl, and storage containers for the finished makeup. You will also need corn syrup and food coloring.

First mix together two tablespoons of water, three drops of blue food coloring, seventy drops of red food coloring, and about ten drops of the yellow food coloring. Mix these colors together with the water until they are completely blended.

After you have mixed all of those items together you will want to slowly add in the corn syrup until you have reached the desired consistency. This may mean using a little more or a little less of the corn syrup depending on your needs.

A lot of people want to start with a base face paint while they are creating their Halloween costume look. Halloween's most common colors for the base colors are usually black and green. There are several Halloween recipes for makeup that are very easy that you can use for a base.

The first step that you should use is to decide what color of food coloring you would want to start with. You then want to grab two tablespoons of cornstarch. Your next step will be to add one tablespoon of shortening that is usually used for cooking that is solid. You then want to add the shortening and cornstarch and mix them well together. The final step is to add the food coloring until the color that you want is achieved. This is a great and easy way that you can make your own Halloween makeup.
